PEANUT BUTTER ICE CREAM



Peanut butter is always a popular flavour with kids. The crunchy bits of peanut enhances to the texture.
Roughly broken pieces of peanut butter cookies can be folded in before serving.
This recipe has been made in an ice cream making machine. The bowl in which the ice cream will be churned should be frozen for atleast 12 hours. The ice cream base also needs to be put in fridge for minimum 4 hours. This is very important for best results.

Recipe for Peanut Butter Ice Cream


Ingredients for Peanut Butter Ice Cream


  • 1 cup peanut butter (crunchy)
  • 1 ¼ cup full fat milk
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • ½ cup granulated sugar

How to make



Freeze the freezer bowl of ice cream machine for 12 hours.

In a mixing bowl combine the peanut butter, sugar and milk until well blended. Sugar should be completely dissolved. For this hand blender can be used, initially at low and later medium speed.

Mix in the cream and beat until well combined and smooth. Crunchy bits of peanut may remain which is fine.

Put this ice cream mixture in fridge for minimum 4 hours.

Turn on the machine. Slowly pour in the ice cream mixture.

The ice cream will thicken in about 25 to 30 minutes.

At this stage ice cream will have a soft serve consistency and ready to be consumed.

For the ice cream to be scoopable transfer it in an air tight container and freeze for 2 hours.
