MINT TEA



Mint tea is a refreshing way to boost your energy and health. It relaxes your body and mind.

Mint tea relieves cough and congestion, corrects digestion problems also. Its aroma itself is extremely therapeutic. Mint has the property to elevate the flavours of any dish it is added to.

There is no perfect formula for mint tea. It can be prepared according to ones liking. Variations can be done like adding a cinnamon stick or a few drops of lemon juice. The given proportions are suitable for  two cups. It is advisable to enjoy the tea as soon as it is prepared.

Recipe for Mint Tea


Ingredients for Mint tea


  • ½ cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tsp tea leaves (any kind will do)
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • honey as required


How to make



Put half a teaspoon of tea leaves in each cup.

Put some fresh mint leaves. Tear the leaves with hand before adding.

Top it with boiling water.

Add honey and stir well.

Tastes best when consumed immediately.
